the calm before the storm...

Thats what I call this part of the year. Life is quite a bit slower for me during the months of November through February. Sometimes I try to remember what I did in my spare time before I was self-employed. One of my favorite things was to take Ringo running at Bluff Creek and see how far I could make it through my Counting Crows playlist. It's a nice little place just north of Lake Hefner, lots of trees and some great mountain bike trails. It's actually those trails that spurred a ferocious and expensive mountain bike racing phase in college. A couple weeks ago we had some beautiful fog that beckoned Adam Duritz and I to go for a relaxing stroll in the woods.
